A heated debate over the CHP and the "absolute nullity" ruling took place between former MP Dursun Çiçek and Barış Yarkadaş, who is close to Kılıçdaroğlu. The argument, which began with Çiçek using the term 'sycophant' (yalaka), continued with harsh exchanges.

Following the court ruling of "absolute nullity" in the CHP convention case, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was reinstated as the CHP Chairman.

The absolute nullity ruling has divided the CHP. Yesterday, two separate holiday greeting rallies were held in Ankara. Kılıçdaroğlu spoke at the CHP Headquarters, while the elected Chairman Özgür Özel spoke at Güvenpark.

While the mutual statements remain on the agenda, tensions rose between Barış Yarkadaş, known for his closeness to Kılıçdaroğlu, and former CHP MP Dursun Çiçek.

During the program on tv100, Barış Yarkadaş shared details of his meeting with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who has returned to the chairman's seat following the court process. At that exact moment, Dursun Çiçek targeted Yarkadaş by using the term "sycophant," which further strained the atmosphere in the studio. Çiçek reacted to Yarkadaş by saying, "Please do not act as Kemal Bey's lawyer."

Upon this, Yarkadaş emphasized that his stance was based on ethical values while evaluating the current situation of the CHP and developments within the party, and condemned Dursun Çiçek's criticisms.

 

As the discussion progressed, the verbal duel between the parties became even more intense. In the exchange, which extended to ideological accusations, Dursun Çiçek said to Yarkadaş, "I am ashamed of you too. You have become a separatist, a separatist... just like the FETÖ members did..."

Yarkadaş, targeting the Özgür Özel administration, said the following:

"The morality of this party has been corrupted by some of our friends over the last two years. Özgür Özel and his friends went door-to-door to the MHP and AKP to prevent the 'absolute nullity' ruling from being issued. You have finished off the CHP by saying we are preparing for the post-Erdoğan era."

In the final segment, tensions rose further during the mutual exchange. To Çiçek's remark that "A journalist is not a sycophant, they tell the truth," Yarkadaş responded by saying, "You are the one being a sycophant, Dursun Çiçek. Do not speak rudely. I will make you eat those words."
