BBP leader Mustafa Destici issues slogan 'warning' to CHP: 'We will take legal action'
BBP Chairman Mustafa Destici has reacted to the CHP, noting the similarity between his party's slogan, "Our work is Turkey, our power is Turkey," and the CHP's slogan, "Our work, our power is Turkey."

Mustafa Destici, Chairman of the Great Unity Party (BBP), a junior partner in the People's Alliance, stated that they would "resort to legal channels" regarding the similarity between the slogan they are using for the March 31 Local Administration General Elections and the slogan used by the CHP.
Speaking at the opening of his party's Ayaş election office, Destici stated that his party supports the People's Alliance in certain regions for the local elections, while participating in the elections with its own candidates in 51 provinces, their affiliated districts, provincial general assemblies, and municipal council memberships.
When asked about the similarity between the BBP's slogan, "Our work is Turkey, our power is Turkey," and the CHP's slogan, "Our work, our power is Turkey," Destici said the following:
"We announced this to the public earlier and used it in our election manifesto. We are warning the CHP not to use our slogan; we are advising them. This is theft of labor; they should stay away from it. Our candidate in Sivas, Mr. Adem Uzun, also used this on billboards he put up earlier.
We have been using this slogan for about a month. The CHP either saw it and took it from us, or even if they were doing a different study, they ignored the fact that the BBP was using it. We do not find this appropriate for political ethics, and we will take the necessary legal steps regarding this matter."
