"The process began on October 1, 2024, with the handshake of the DEM co-chairs by Mr. Devlet Bahçeli. Since that day, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been involved in the process. He is monitoring developments carefully, calmly, moment by moment, and with caution.

After the second round of consultation meetings that the DEM delegation will hold with political parties, our President Erdoğan will invite the leaders of the political parties with groups in Parliament to the complex collectively.

The goal is clear. For Turkey to begin its second century free from the scourge of terrorism. It is the surrender of weapons, the dissolution of the PKK, and the redirection of our country's resources not to the fight against terrorism, but to the development of the country. Turkey's determination to end terrorism will be demonstrated to both the domestic and international worlds after this meeting. In the final stage of these developments, the final decision will be made by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with a large majority."
