Bill for green passports for journalists submitted to the Turkish Parliament

MHP Kayseri Deputy and Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir has submitted a bill to the Turkish Parliament regarding the issuance of green (special) passports to media professionals with 15 years of seniority.
Making a statement on the matter via his social media account, Özdemir stated, “We have submitted our bill to our parliament regarding the issuance of special stamped passports to press card-holding media professionals with 15 years of professional seniority. I hope that our bill, which we prepared with the belief that our country needs to further strengthen its media diplomacy, will be beneficial. As the MHP, we will continue to stand by all our media professionals with whom we are united in our national unity and solidarity.”
