Biopsy performed on mass in neck of imprisoned Mayor Çalık

Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who is being held at İzmir Buca Prison, has been transferred to the hospital again due to health issues. Çalık, who has a history of lymphoma, underwent a biopsy for a mass in his neck.

Health issues continue for Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who was arrested as part of an investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and transferred to İzmir Buca Prison. Çalık, who has a history of leukemia and lymphoma, was transferred to the hospital for the second time yesterday, and a decision was made for him to be admitted. 

BIOPSY PERFORMED

It has been learned that Mehmet Murat Çalık underwent a biopsy today for the mass in his neck.

Imprisoned Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2006 when a mass appeared on his neck. The malignant mass was surgically removed twice.
