While the Ministry of National Education's budget was being discussed at the TBMM Planning and Budget Committee, CHP Kars Deputy İnan Akgün Alp put forward a striking allegation. With a photograph he showed to Minister Yusuf Tekin, Alp brought the situation in Susuz, Kars, to light.

Alp stated that the person in the photograph is the AKP Susuz District Women's Branch President and that this person is also working as a paid teacher at the Şehit Ömer Can Yekebağcı Multi-Program Anatolian High School in Susuz, Kars. He further alleged that this person also operates the school's commercial areas.

These statements, which caused controversy in the committee, were further fueled by Alp's words. Expressing his reaction, Alp said, "This person is both teaching and running the canteen. When the bell rings, she goes to class, then she goes to the canteen. Afterwards, she carries out activities at the AK Party district building. Is this situation acceptable?"

Alp argued that this situation is just one example and that ministries have been handed over to political figures. He continued his criticism by saying, "The Minister of Agriculture has appointed someone who has a company in Hungary as a general manager. The Minister of National Education, on the other hand, has made a district president a teacher. Whose property are these ministries?"
