Three more cities have been added to the organizational changes that have gained momentum recently within the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP). It was announced that the Kırıkkale, Zonguldak, and Kocaeli provincial organizations have been dissolved and that new provincial chairs have been appointed in their place.

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın emphasized in his statement that this decision was implemented in accordance with the 52nd and 54th articles of the party bylaws. In his statement, Yalçın said, "Mekki Varol has been appointed as the MHP Kırıkkale Provincial Chair, Orhan Korkmaz as the Zonguldak Provincial Chair, and Enes Emengen as the Kocaeli Provincial Chair."

The process, which began with the dismissal of the Istanbul Provincial Organization on April 6, 2026, has continued with the dissolution of a total of 18 provincial organizations to date. Following Istanbul, similar steps were taken in Kütahya, Eskişehir, Kars, Çanakkale, Bilecik, Muğla, Bolu, Ardahan, Bingöl, Gaziantep, Malatya, Isparta, Şanlıurfa, Konya, and Kilis, respectively.

Particularly following the resignation of Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter, internal tensions had become a subject of discussion within the party and among the public.
