Speaking on the matter, AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala had said, "There will be new additions. The AK Party is the dominant address of politics. It is natural and expected for those who want to walk the path with the AK Party to join the party within the framework of its principles."
AKP Deputy Chairman Hamza Dağ held a press conference regarding the preparations for his party's 23rd anniversary program.
Stating that there will be new additions to the AKP, Dağ said, "Tomorrow, there will be additions at both the mayoral and parliamentary levels."
Dağ stated that 15 of the new members are mayors and 2 are members of parliament.
Hamza Dağ, who did not disclose the names of those who will join the party, said, "This is not the first time for our party, and it will not be the last. We will continue to grow the AK Party family by embracing all 85 million of our citizens."
