BREAKING NEWS... AKP's new Central Executive Board (MYK) list announced

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was re-elected as chairman at his party's 8th Ordinary Grand Congress, receiving the votes of all 1,547 delegates.

During the congress, the AKP's new Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) was determined, and Erdoğan's core team was finalized at the subsequent MKYK meeting. The new Central Executive Board (MYK) list was also announced at the congress.

Following the MKYK meeting, party spokesperson Ömer Çelik announced the new 'A-Team' determined by Erdoğan.

Çelik's statement is as follows:

"Under the leadership of our President, we held the first MKYK meeting of the new term. Throughout the congress process, great effort was put forth by our organization, starting from the districts and neighborhoods by visiting our provinces. We would like to express our gratitude once again to our organization presidency and all our organization members during this process.

All units of our party have demonstrated a great will for our congress process to be a festival of democracy and to form a new foundation as a ground for the struggle for democracy. The picture that emerged in this process has once again shown that the AK Party and the People's Alliance derive their greatest strength from our nation in the issues that our country and our region will face in the coming period.

We would like to thank our organization members, our organization presidents, who are the voice and ear of our nation and who form the capillaries and main arteries of our party, once again for the determination, sacrifice, dedication, and success they showed while managing this process.

Likewise, we express our gratitude to our citizens who filled the streets, squares, and halls from the moment our President and Chairman landed at the airport during his visits to our provinces; to our main cadre, women's branch, and youth branch representatives who embraced our President, our Chairman, and our political movement in every aspect throughout our congress process; and most importantly, to the citizens and our fellow countrymen in those provinces.

In this process, we have seen once again that our nation's love and ownership of this struggle, our President, and our Chairman continue with an enthusiasm that will never end. This struggle will continue in the strongest way in the coming period as well.

On this occasion, we have once again seen the power of the People's Alliance everywhere we went during our congresses. We also convey our get-well wishes to Mr. Devlet Bahçeli and hope that he will regain his health as soon as possible and continue the unique services he provides to Turkey."
