The investigation being conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against suspects — including Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was removed from his post as İBB Mayor following his arrest — on allegations of "leading a criminal organisation," "membership in a criminal organisation," "extortion," "bribery," "aggravated fraud," "unlawfully obtaining personal data," and "bid rigging" continues.
Within the scope of this investigation, the prosecutor's office issued detention orders against 18 suspects on charges of "giving bribes," "receiving bribes," and "bid rigging." Search and seizure orders will also be carried out against those for whom detention orders have been issued.
