SUMMIT BEGINS

''IF WE TAKE A STEP BACK FROM THAT PHOTO, TURKEY WILL KNEEL''

In a statement made before the meeting, Özgür Özel drew attention to the importance of the process and said the following:

“Ekrem Bey will also come to Ankara tomorrow (Sunday). We have already met with Mayor Mansur. We will hold a tripartite meeting to evaluate the current situation and the process we are conducting. The photo of unity that Mayor Mansur and Mayor Ekrem provide to Turkey will not change. If we take a step back from that photo, they will make Turkey kneel. We are aware of this.”
