Sources from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office have reported that the indictment for the corruption investigation into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), in which IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is also being held in custody, will be completed in the first week of November.

On March 19, arrests were made as part of the corruption investigations launched against Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu and several other mayors.
Following the investigation, the opposition and the detained mayors demanded that the indictment be prepared as soon as possible so that the trial process could begin.
INDICTMENT PREPARATION PROCESS
Prosecution sources announced that the indictment for the investigation into the IMM would be ready in the first week of November. The statement noted that the testimonies of all suspects have been completed and the file has been prepared for trial.
TRIAL PROCESS AWAITED
It was noted that once the indictment is prepared, the investigation file will be submitted to the court and the trial process will begin.
