MHP Deputy Chairman and Istanbul MP Semih Yalçın announced that Yasin Sönmez, a member of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Istanbul provincial executive board, and Emin Sönmez, a member of the Istanbul Bayrampaşa district, have been referred to the disciplinary board with a request for permanent expulsion.
THEIR NAMES WERE MENTIONED IN THE BAYRAMPAŞA INVESTIGATION
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a financial crimes investigation into the Bayrampaşa Municipality. Within the scope of the investigation, detention warrants were issued for 48 people, including Mayor Hasan Mutlu.
It was learned that among those detained is Yasin Sönmez, the Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Istanbul Provincial Presidency.
The names of all those for whom detention warrants were issued within the scope of the investigation are as follows:
