Hasan Babacan, who was appointed to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Administration as a trustee alongside Gürsel Tekin, has stepped down from his post. Following this development, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik held a meeting with Babacan.

The meeting took place with the participation of CHP Group Deputy Chair Ali Mahir Başarır and Party Assembly Member Bedirhan Berk Doğru.

In a statement on his social media account, Özgür Çelik said, “Mr. Hasan Babacan visited us at our provincial headquarters. We discussed the past, present, and future of the Republican People's Party with him. We had a pleasant conversation.”
