Breaking News... New message from Bahçeli before the commission: Criticism of preconditions

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated that he finds the Republican People's Party's (CHP) participation in the commission established for the 'Terror-Free Turkey process' to be valuable.

However, Bahçeli noted that it is meaningless and illogical for the CHP to put forward preconditions that would complicate the process.

The full text of Bahçeli's statement is as follows:

Politics is the success and skill of dispersing the clouds of fog that block the path of life and events, guided by reason and morality, as well as the ability to find a way out of dead ends driven by cyclical problems.

It is a proven and established fact through many experiences that countries devoid of and distant from a culture of problem-solving cannot escape the gravitational field of chaotic conflicts and crisis-oriented contradictions.

The Turkish nation has proven and demonstrated, especially in recent years, that it possesses the courage, wisdom, competence, resilience, and character to face heavy, chronic, and crystallized problems.

No matter what black propaganda is put into play, the path of our Turkey is clear.

The flag that has risen once will never descend, and it will never be overshadowed.

The guarantee is the Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance. The existence of any influential and dominant power that could stop, pause, or drag into stagnation a Turkey that has been purified from terror, has parted ways with terror, and has torn terror out of its sacred life is now merely a matter of fantasy.

The siege has been broken, and regional and global traps have been dismantled. A terror-free Turkey is a Turkey that has pushed back hesitations and resolved contradictions. A terror-free Turkey is a Turkey that has updated and strengthened national unity and brotherhood.

Of course, and as expected, there are those who have difficulty adapting to our country's new normal, and as expected, there will continue to be.

The nonsensical claim of "we are not commission members" by those who did not participate in the "National Unity and Solidarity Commission" established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which will subsequently be represented by four deputies from our party, and who went further to list baseless, unfair, and shameless criticisms, is a non-serious and worthless statement.

For those who equate commissions, which hold an important position in the functioning and functionality of the Veteran Assembly as well as in the completion and progress of democratic mechanisms, with "commission-mongering," the moral responsibility that falls upon them in accordance with consistency is to immediately withdraw from all commissions defined in the Rules of Procedure.

The statement "Our commission is the Turkish nation" is nothing more than the delirium and defeat of those whose history and profession are essentially commission-mongering.

The declaration of a turncoat, who calculates every slice of his life, chases after interests, and is a master of selling out and switching sides, to hold us accountable on behalf of the nation is not only a loss of reason but also documents what kind of arrogance and incompetent ambition he is a prisoner of on the tightrope he is walking.

When the time and hour come, everyone will see who will hold whom accountable in the presence of history and the nation.

This is merely a matter of patience and time.

Those who once wore every mask, entered every mold, hoped for help from whoever they came across, and entered into wretched alliances with the aim of poisoning and chaining the Nationalist Movement Party should especially know that betrayal is inherent in their persons and politics.

What a strange state and situation it is that intending to eliminate the truth that stands as clear as day with their bravado and spent memories, and aiming to do this by clinging to the 'IP' (Good Party), is only and only the weakness and frailty of simple and vulgar mentalities.

The perpetrators of this weakness and frailty have, thankfully, been purged, cast out, and separated from our party.

On the other hand, while the CHP providing members to the commission that will begin its work in the Assembly is a valuable step, imposing preconditions that will hinder the process is equally meaningless and illogical.

Turkey will permanently get rid of the scourge of terror.

"THERE IS NO PLACE OR NEED TO MUDDY THE WATERS OR ESCALATE SUSPICIONS ON THIS MATTER"

It is indisputable that there is a great need for a constructive and supportive political stance that adopts an attitude conducive and appropriate to this, one that facilitates rather than complicates, and embraces the dignity and sentiments of our nation rather than shunning reconciliation.

How the commission, consisting of 48 members, will work, what the method of decision-making will be, and how the principled rules regarding meeting principles and procedures will be determined will become clear in its natural course and in the coming days. There is no place or need to muddy the waters or escalate suspicions on this matter. Moreover, historical developments are taking place regarding a "Terror-Free Turkey."

Efforts to block these developments at a certain point and attempts to preemptively sabotage the commission's work are a tactical campaign of intimidation and erosion.

My belief and confidence that the parties providing members to the commission will show resistance to this cunning and dirty campaign are full.
