BREAKING NEWS... Second Imralı meeting has officially begun

The DEM Party Imralı delegation traveled to Imralı Island today to meet with Abdullah Öcalan, the leader of the terrorist organization PKK. According to information obtained, the meeting between the delegation and Öcalan began around noon.

AHMET TÜRK DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING

The delegation included Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and DEM Party Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder, and DEM Party Van MP Pervin Buldan. It was learned that Ahmet Türk, the Co-Mayor of Mardin Metropolitan Municipality who was replaced by a government-appointed trustee due to health issues, could not attend this meeting.

While no official statement has been made yet regarding the content and agenda of the meeting, it is anticipated that contacts between the parties involved in the process will continue.

In a statement made earlier this morning, the DEM Party had indicated that the meeting with PKK leader Öcalan would take place during the day.
