TARGETED CHP: 'WHILE THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS BURNING...'
Drawing attention to Israel's attacks in the region, Bahçeli targeted the CHP.
Stating, "Israel's moves to expand the war to the region, its ambitions to occupy Syria after Lebanon, I emphasize repeatedly that this is a very serious security threat against the Republic of Turkey and oppressed nations," Bahçeli continued as follows:
"The true purpose of the Zionist aggression, which is highly likely to reach our borders at this rate, and the global imperialism behind it, is clear. Any negligence will pave the way for heavy costs.
The unprincipled, indifferent, and duplicitous politics of the CHP administration in the face of developments are truly at worrying levels.
While the neighborhood is burning, the CHP's insistence on beating around the bush, playing a double game, and rapidly spinning the wheel of polemics and gossip is nothing more than the cheap tricks of a shameful policy."
SHARP REACTION TO NUMAN KURTULMUŞ
In the continuation of his speech, Bahçeli reacted sharply to Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş, who targeted the third article of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey.
"No matter from which angle we look at the Turkish state philosophy, the state is the nation and the nation is the state," said Bahçeli, and continued his words:
"The state is one and whole with its country and nation. Separating the two, evaluating them separately, and sometimes pitting them against each other is not only a gross mistake but also the handicap and frustration of newly emerged democratic bigots who cannot digest the dignity of the state.
As I stated last week, if our geography is discussed, our nation will disappear; if our nation is discussed, our state will disappear; if our state is discussed, our flag will disappear; if our flag is discussed, our existence will disappear.
Separating the state from the nation and separating the nation from the state is pure separatism and is very dangerous."
'NEW SOLUTION PROCESS' ALLEGATIONS
Bahçeli also reacted sharply to the 'new solution process' allegations on the agenda.
"Neither politics nor terrorism can fit into the same mold. They cannot fit into the same body. They cannot take refuge in the same mouth. Either politics or terrorism, either politics or weapons! There is no middle ground, no in-between!" said Bahçeli, and continued:
"The Republic of Turkey's negotiation, discussion, seeking ways of agreement with terrorism, and efforts to build new processes only carry water to the mill of the terrorist organization.
My Kurdish-origin brothers have no closeness or connection with the separatist terrorist organization. It is for everyone's benefit that the DEM Party comes to its senses in this regard and refrains from fueling an environment of destruction to sabotage the hand I extended."
CALL TO ÖCALAN: LET HIM UNILATERALLY DECLARE THAT THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE DISMANTLED
Calling on the leader of the PKK terrorist organization, Abdullah Öcalan, Bahçeli said, "Let the terrorist leader, who said 'I am ready for any service' while being brought to Turkey, come forward and unilaterally declare that terrorism has ended and his organization will be dismantled. But let no one, under any circumstances, expect or even think about the state sitting at the table with terrorism," he stated.
Speaking about his handshake with the DEM Party Group, Bahçeli said, "The hand I extended is a hand without ulterior motives. The hand I extended is a sincere and well-intentioned hand. The hand I extended is a call to unite in Turkey, to bond with the Turkish nation," he stated.
Bahçeli's statements are as follows:
In the face of the Israeli threat, all thresholds have been crossed and the rule of law has been completely eroded. Israel has pressed all the buttons of violence. Israel has reached such a stage that it has declared the UN Secretary-General persona non grata and has turned into a terrorist organization.
While the Israeli Finance Minister was listing his dreams of promised lands, he offended Egypt and Saudi Arabia. One cannot remain a spectator to the flowing blood. The United Nations must use force immediately and the criminals must be tried before justice. Israel is a very serious security threat against the Republic of Turkey. The CHP's unserious and duplicitous attitude in the face of developments is a very serious problem.
'NORMALIZATION' OUTBURST
I say to those who are obsessed with normalization, forget these, look at our political history. The CHP's unserious and duplicitous attitude in the face of developments is a very serious problem. The place where the CHP stands is not the place where the Turkish nation stands. A person with a habit does not give up their habit, but we will still not lose hope in the CHP. Özgür Bey's statements after the closed session held in Parliament are a great delusion. The perspective from which the CHP looks is not a national perspective. We will wait for the days when the CHP takes a reasonable position.
"THE STATE OF PALESTINE MUST DEFINITELY BE RECOGNIZED"
The world in general is on a knife's edge. We need to be very careful. The timely evacuation of our citizens in Lebanon is a comforting development. The MHP desires with all its heart that a belt of peace prevails both inside and outside our country. The State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, must definitely be recognized.
The timely evacuation of our citizens in Lebanon is a development that comforts our nation. The MHP desires with all its heart that an atmosphere of peace prevails both inside and outside our country. There is no end to conflict. An independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the 1967 borders, must definitely be established. Politics is not a ring surrounded by ropes, and politicians are not boxers. The issue is to reach the unique secret of being 'us'. Everything is for Turkey. The understanding of 'first my country and my nation, then my party and myself' is our party's understanding.
3RD ARTICLE RESPONSE TO NUMAN KURTULMUŞ
The Republic of Turkey is a victory of democracy. No matter from which angle we look at the Turkish state philosophy, the state is the nation and the nation is the state. Separating the state from the nation is pure separatism and is very dangerous. The state is one and whole with its country and nation. Separating the two, evaluating them separately, and sometimes pitting them against each other is a great betrayal. Separating the state from the nation and the nation from the state is a great lack of consciousness.
"LET THE TERRORIST LEADER COME OUT AND DECLARE THAT HE HAS ENDED TERRORISM"
Either politics or terrorism, either politics or weapons, there is no middle ground, no in-between. The roots of separatist terrorism must be eradicated, and the thousand-year brotherhood must be reinforced. It is for everyone's benefit that the DEM Party refrains from an environment of provocation to sabotage the hand I extended. Turks and Kurds are brothers; whoever comes between them is a traitor, a burden, a cancer cell, and is doomed to perish.
Let the terrorist leader, who said 'I am ready for any service' while being brought to Turkey, come forward and unilaterally declare that terrorism has ended and his organization will be dismantled. Let no one, under any circumstances, expect or even think about the state sitting at the table with terrorism. Let them show that they are thirsty for brotherhood, not blood. The state does not negotiate with a terrorist organization; it fights it tooth and nail.
"THE HAND I EXTENDED IS A WELL-INTENTIONED HAND"
It will be to the benefit of those who have been drawing different conclusions from the hand I have extended for days to know that I extended my hand for the state, the nation, and the homeland, and that I wanted this from the heart. We extend our hand not for a process, but for brotherhood. Hakkari is ours, Edirne is ours, İzmir is ours, Şırnak is ours. Today is a day of unity and solidarity. There is a place for everyone in our hearts.
We will have a reckoning with those who have an issue with the first 4 articles of the Constitution.
I am addressing those who say the state has no country or nation. This claim has no technical, academic, intellectual, political, or legal binding or convincing aspect. The state has a country. That is the Turkish homeland. The state has a nation. That is the Turkish nation. The state is a territorial unity.
