RISING MEAT PRICES
Audits implemented and planned to prevent exorbitant price hikes and hoarding during the Ramadan period will be on the table.
ELECTION SECURITY
Prominent topics in domestic and foreign politics will also be evaluated at the Cabinet meeting. A special focus will be placed on election security regarding the local elections on March 31.
TEACHER APPOINTMENTS
Following the recent statement made by Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin regarding teacher appointments, all eyes had turned to the Cabinet meeting. It is anticipated that teacher appointments may also be discussed at the meeting following Minister Tekin's remarks.
F-16 PROCUREMENT FROM THE US
Another agenda item in the Cabinet will be the latest stage reached in the procurement of F-16 fighter jets from the US. Evaluations regarding the offer and acceptance letters received from the Washington D.C. administration and delivered to the Ministry of National Defense will be among the main agenda items.
