Cabinet to meet in Ahlat today: Here are the topics on the table

The Cabinet meeting, to be chaired by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will be held today in Ahlat for the 954th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert.
The agenda for the meeting, which is expected to begin at 16:00, will include the new initiative called 'Terror-Free Turkey.' Commission work and the current status of the process will be presented by the ministers.
Additionally, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where the United Nations has declared a "famine," will also be discussed at the meeting. The number of people who have lost their lives due to starvation had risen to 289. Developments in the Ukraine-Russia war are also among the other important topics the Cabinet will address.
The schedule regarding civil servant salary increases is also on the agenda. No results were reached in the second meeting of the Public Arbitration Board regarding the civil servant raise. Therefore, eyes have turned to the third meeting to be held today. The salary issue is expected to be evaluated in the Cabinet.

The Presidential Cabinet also met in Ahlat during the same period last year. That meeting was recorded as the cabinet's first meeting outside of Ankara in 21 years.
