As holiday greeting visits between political parties continue, simultaneous visits were held between the AKP and MHP. The need for constitutional amendment came to the forefront during the meetings.

MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz, during his visit to the AKP, drew attention to the inadequacy of the current constitution, stating, "We must get rid of this Constitution, which has turned into a patchwork quilt, falls apart wherever you touch it, and still bears the traces of the coup era."

The ongoing Israeli attacks in Gaza and the process of a terror-free Turkey were also on the agenda during the meetings. The delegation led by AKP Deputy Chairman of Civil Society and Public Relations Kerem Ali Sürekli was received at the MHP Headquarters by Deputy Chairman Zühal Topcu.

At the same time, the delegation consisting of MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz, Chief Advisor to the Chairman and Central Executive Committee (MYK) member Esma Özdaşlı, and MYK member Şahin Kartal was welcomed by AKP Deputy Chairman Belgin Uygur.

These visits are considered an important step in terms of maintaining dialogue and cooperation between the parties.
