A 'Saraçhane' call from Ekrem İmamoğlu!

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, in a post made following his detention, called for a gathering at Saraçhane this evening at 8:30 PM. Sharing on his social media account, İmamoğlu said, "The nation is at Saraçhane again this evening!"

IMM Mayor and expected CHP presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu has issued a call for a gathering at Saraçhane today at 8:30 PM. A post was made on the social media account of İmamoğlu, who was detained yesterday morning and whose legal proceedings are ongoing.

"The nation is at Saraçhane again this evening!" was the note accompanying the post, which announced the gathering time as 8:30 PM.

Tens of thousands of people from different segments of society, protesting the detention of over 100 individuals including İmamoğlu, had also gathered in front of the IMM building in Saraçhane last night.
