Call for trustees from MHP's Feti Yıldız

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız made assessments regarding the reinstatement of dismissed mayors Ahmet Özer and Ahmet Türk. Drawing attention to the nature of the trustee practice, Yıldız stated, "Let us not forget that it is a precautionary measure. In other words, trustee appointments are a precaution. They are sometimes applied from the beginning to the end of a case, but they should be lifted when conditions change."

EMPHASIS ON "TWO AHMETS"

Referring to the "two Ahmets" expression previously used by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, Yıldız touched upon the judicial processes of Ahmet Özer and Ahmet Türk. He included the following remarks in his statement:

"For example, the trials of Ahmet Türk and Ahmet Özer, whom our Chairman referred to as the two Ahmets, and the course of their cases are within the atmosphere we are currently in."

Evaluating the scope of the trustee practice and the current situation, Yıldız described the point the process has reached as follows:

"In other words, when the purpose of our commission is combined, it is actually seen that it is a practice that has exceeded its intended scope."

"NO OBJECTION TO REINSTATEMENT"

At the end of his statement, Feti Yıldız, who took a clear stance on the reinstatement of Özer and Türk to their duties, said the following:

"To summarize briefly, from our perspective, there is no objection to the reinstatement of Ahmet Özer and Ahmet Türk to their duties."
