Call to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey from MHP's Feti Yıldız: 'It must be implemented urgently'

Feti Yıldız, Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) responsible for Legal and Election Affairs, shared his latest assessments with the public regarding the second opening process, which the government has named 'Terror-Free Turkey'.

Making a statement via his X account, Yıldız drew attention to the final report prepared by the opening process commission and issued a call to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

"While the commission report presents a framework that guides administrative and legal regulations, it reminds us that steps toward social harmony are an area that cannot be postponed." Yıldız stated the following:

"The duty of politics is to bring together the different voices of society in the language of a common future. When this process, which proceeds with the conscience, wisdom, and common sense of the nation, produces lasting results and is strengthened by a concept of citizenship based on brotherhood, unity, and integration, the internal peace, which is the most valuable achievement of the 'Turkey Model,' will rise on solid foundations."

In his assessment regarding the next stage of the process, Yıldız said, "In the next phase, the predictability of detection and monitoring mechanisms, the clarity of administrative and legal regulations, the inclusivity of social harmony steps, and the continuity of parliamentary oversight will be decisive." included his statements.

The common consensus formed throughout the meetings is that the method of combating violence and terrorism should not be limited to security measures alone.

It is assessed that a civic consciousness based on full democracy, equality-based fraternity, and institutional transparency will make lasting peace and tranquility possible.

The cherished memory of our martyrs, who disregarded their lives for our homeland at the cost of their lives and blood, and the will for brotherhood of our veterans are the unshakable guarantees of our national integrity.

The emerging consensus is that the process should proceed along a path that protects public order, expands rights and freedoms, increases social consent, and carries our common future within an institutional discipline.

This report presents the accumulated knowledge and collective wisdom distilled from all the work and reports received, serving as a framework to guide the steps to be taken in the coming period.

In the next phase, the predictability of detection and monitoring mechanisms, the clarity of administrative and legal regulations, the inclusivity of social cohesion steps, and the continuity of parliamentary oversight will be decisive.

The approach put forward by the commission is based on producing an integration that strengthens the goal of a common future with joint projects, accelerates regional development, repairs social ties, and narrows the ground for divisive scenarios.
