Calling it an 'artificial separation': Mücahit Birinci invites Davutoğlu back

Former AKP MKYK member Mücahit Birinci quoted a message from Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu and invited him to return to the AKP.

Former AKP Central Decision and Administrative Board (MKYK) member Mücahit Birinci responded to Ahmet Davutoğlu’s moderate remarks regarding the AKP in a post on his social media account.

 Quoting Davutoğlu’s words, “My AK Party brothers, I am not offended or hurt by you. I came from among you, and I am still spiritually among you,” Birinci stated that the separations were artificial.

'THE WAY SHOULD BE OPENED FOR THEM TO ENGAGE IN POLITICS'

Birinci stated that the way should be opened for Davutoğlu and those who left the AKP with him to engage in politics under the party's roof once again. Birinci conditioned this proposal on the requirement of disciplined adherence to the decisions of AKP boards, noting that he had displayed a similar stance in the past.

Stating in his social media post that he was aware his view would be criticized by some circles, Birinci emphasized that he did not refrain from expressing his thoughts despite this. Birinci said, “The way should be opened for these brothers of ours to engage in politics under the AK Party roof.”
