Calls go unanswered: Kılıçdaroğlu to remain silent! He will wait until the party congress lawsuit

CHP Party Assembly member Ali Haydar Fırat stated that former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu will not make any statement regarding the current situation in the CHP.

Fırat said that in his meeting with Kılıçdaroğlu, the former chairman mentioned that he plans to make a statement on the matter only after the uncertainty regarding whether a trustee will be appointed to the CHP is resolved. He noted that Kılıçdaroğlu wants to see the outcome of the lawsuit filed for the cancellation of the CHP congress on September 15.

"WE DISCUSSED NATIONAL ISSUES"

Fırat stated that not only the process within the CHP but also national issues were brought up during his meeting with Kılıçdaroğlu. "Apart from that, we talked entirely about national issues. We discussed the meetings he held with certain academics and some analyses based on those meetings," he said, indicating that they addressed the scope of the meeting from a broad perspective.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'S CALL

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel had made a call to former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu in an interview with Ruşen Çakır on Medyascope on September 11, 2025.

Özel had stated, "It would be very valuable for him to declare that he is the most important guarantee against the CHP being designed by the judiciary. He is the most important guarantee against these coup attempts," emphasizing that it was important for Kılıçdaroğlu to make a statement on this issue.
