According to a report by Ali Kemal Erdem from Patronlar Dünyası, Kaftancıoğlu began spending most of her time at the medical center she co-founded after stepping away from politics.
Kaftancıoğlu, who serves as an administrator at the Özel Işık Medical Center located in the Yüzyıl neighborhood of Istanbul's Bağcılar district, does not participate in medical procedures.
It is known that Kaftancıoğlu opened the medical center with colleagues she worked with during her mandatory service period at the Sivas Suşehri State Hospital.
