DEM Party Imralı Delegation members Pervin Buldan, Mithat Sancar, and Özgür Faik Erol went to the island yesterday to meet with terrorist leader Öcalan. According to Çandar, the draft is known by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, MIT Chief İbrahim Kalın, and the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan.
Speaking about the timeline of the legislative proposal, Çandar said that the information they received is that the draft is expected to be submitted to the Speaker of the Parliament on Monday. Çandar stated that after the processes in the Parliament's internal regulations, the proposal could be quickly passed through the committee and referred to the General Assembly.
Çandar used the following expressions: "The predictions are that the draft will be passed through the committee and referred to the General Assembly within 24 hours. It is a matter of it being enacted next Thursday, that is, around the 6th or 7th of the month, and then the Parliament going into summer recess."
