Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issues statement on access ban to İmamoğlu's social media account

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a statement regarding the access ban imposed on the account of Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP presidential candidate who was arrested and suspended from duty, on the social media platform X. 

The statement included the following remarks: ''It was determined that posts constituting a crime, such as propaganda for a criminal organization, were made. An access ban decision was issued by the Istanbul Criminal Court of Peace for the social media account, which İmamoğlu does not use himself.''
