CHP and TİP form working group for elections

The Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) have formed a working group aimed at cooperation for the local elections to be held on March 31.

At the CHP Headquarters, the leaders of TİP and CHP met and decided to establish a joint working group between the two parties. The goal of the delegation has been determined as a "tactic of not causing each other to lose."

TİP Chairman Erkan Baş and his accompanying delegation visited CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

The TİP delegation included TİP Chairman Erkan Baş, Deputy Chairman Doğan Ergün, Party Spokesperson Sera Kadıgil, and Central Executive Committee Member in Charge of Organization Yunus Başaran, while the CHP delegation included CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Secretary General Selin Sayek Böke, Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel, and Deputy Chairman in Charge of Domestic and International Organization Ensar Aytekin.

WORKING DELEGATION

Workers' Party of Turkey Chairman Erkan Baş conveyed his well wishes and success to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. During the meeting, the national agenda, the situation of imprisoned Hatay MP Can Atalay, and the upcoming local election process were evaluated. A working delegation was formed for election cooperation between the two parties.

During the meeting, a consensus was reached on adopting a stance that would not cause the opposition and the left to lose in the local elections.

It was reported that the established working delegation would evaluate the possibilities for cooperation within this scope and that the parties would come together again in a short time.
