CHP announces candidate list
In the Republican People's Party (CHP), which received over 15 thousand applications for candidacy in the upcoming local elections to be held on March 31, more than 150 mayoral candidates have been determined.

Following the vote in the Party Assembly (PM) on the decision taken by the CHP Central Executive Board (MYK), the candidates for some electoral districts were announced.
CANDIDATES DETERMINED
Speaking after the Party Assembly (PM) meeting chaired by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel stated that some mayoral candidates were determined in the Party Assemblies, saying, "After holding our MYK meeting, 160 electoral districts were discussed in the PM. The candidates have been determined."
2 CANDIDATES FROM ISTANBUL DISTRICTS
The list shared with the press by Yücel also included the candidates for the Pendik and Fatih districts of Istanbul.
The candidate for Pendik is Tarık Balyalı, while the candidate for Fatih is Mahir Polat.
The candidates determined by the CHP for the March 31, 2024 local elections are as follows;
Konya: İsmail Sonkaya
Manisa: Ferdi Zeyrek
Samsun: Cevat Öncü
Çanakkale: Muharrem Erkek
Kırşehir: Selahattin Ekicioğlu
Bartın: M. Rıza Yalçınkaya
Amasya: Turgay Sevindi
Ardahan: Faruk Demir
Kütahya: Eyüp Kahveci
