CHP announces protest decision in Istanbul: 3 locations specified

The Republican People's Party (CHP) Istanbul Provincial Presidency has issued a call for collective events in the districts of Şişli, Esenyurt, and Çekmeköy on the evening of May 25 to defend democracy and the will of the citizens. Party members and citizens will gather for the protests, which are set to begin at 19.30.
In the call issued by the party, an emphasis on democracy was brought to the forefront following the absolute nullity decision that has occupied the agenda in recent days and the police interventions directed at the party headquarters. At the meetings to be held at three points in Istanbul, the common message will be "to defend the will of the people and to fight for justice and democracy."
