The decision of the 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation regarding TİP Hatay MP Can Atalay, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison in the Gezi Park trial and has not been released despite two rulings of rights violations by the Constitutional Court (AYM), was read in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

Following the reading of the decision, Atalay's parliamentary status was revoked.
