Having left the party convention process behind, the Republican People's Party (CHP) has accelerated its local election efforts.
Candidacy applications in the CHP will be accepted until November 28. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel hosted party members from the Sivas, Yozgat, Çorum, and Ankara organizations at the headquarters the day before yesterday. CHP leader Özel also determined the candidacy criteria for his first election test.
According to a report in Cumhuriyet, the organizations both conveyed their well wishes and expressed their readiness for local election work during the meeting.
