According to the report by Mustafa Bildircin from BirGün; the latest poll conducted regarding Lütfü Savaş, whose candidacy has been the subject of debate and who has been signaled as potentially being replaced, will be discussed at the meeting.
As the debate continues over whether Savaş's candidacy will be withdrawn, eyes have turned to the potential new name the CHP might nominate for the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality. It is reported that the names of CHP Secretary General and Party Assembly Member Selin Sayek Böke and CHP Istanbul Deputy Fethi Açıkel will be presented to MYK members. 27th Term CHP Deputy Serkan Topal will also be one of the options on the table.

According to information obtained from party sources, if Lütfü Savaş's candidacy is withdrawn in line with the results of the re-conducted poll following the protests in Hatay, the name determined to replace him will be announced to the public today.
The party's candidate introduction program, which was postponed due to the Hatay crisis, will be held on Sunday, February 18. By the time of the program to be held at the Ankara Sports Hall, the CHP will have determined nearly all of its candidates in the electoral districts. Candidates not announced on the day of the program will be finalized in the MYK and Party Assembly (PM) meetings to be held in the week of February 19.
ISTANBUL DISTRICTS
On the other hand, it is stated that the CHP will take a position in Istanbul's districts based on the DEM Party's Istanbul candidate. It is noted that the CHP, which continues its contacts with the DEM Party through delegations during the candidate determination process, will continue its "negotiations" according to the profile of the candidate the DEM Party will announce for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
In this context, it is stated that the CHP candidate to be determined, especially for the Adalar and Esenyurt districts, will be a name capable of receiving votes from the DEM Party electorate.
