CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has called on Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş for an 'extraordinary' meeting regarding the crisis that began after the Court of Cassation refused to recognize the Constitutional Court's (AYM) ruling on rights violations concerning TİP MP Can Atalay and announced it would file a criminal complaint against AYM members.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel announced that he called Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş following the crisis that erupted after the Court of Cassation refused to recognize the AYM (Constitutional Court) ruling and announced it would file a criminal complaint against AYM members.

EXTRAORDINARY MEETING TO BE HELD

Sharing on social media, Özel stated the following:

"I spoke with Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş by phone and requested that he convene the Parliament Advisory Board extraordinarily regarding the judicial crisis and coup attempt we are currently in. He stated that after his planned programs with the Palestinian Delegation he is currently hosting, he will make a call in this direction during the day. I will personally attend the Advisory Board meeting to be held under his chairmanship on behalf of our party."
