CHP claim regarding Kürşad Zorlu, who joined the AKP: 'Before entering politics...'

Journalist Murat İde made notable remarks on the Para Politika program with journalist Özlem Gürses on SÖZCÜ TV. İde claimed that Kürşad Zorlu, who joined the AKP Central Executive Board (MYK) and became the Head of Relations with Turkic States after resigning from the İYİ Party, had pressured the CHP before entering politics, and that he joined the AKP after failing to secure a spot in the CHP following his resignation.
The 8th Ordinary Grand Congress of the AKP took place yesterday (February 23). Kürşad Zorlu, who joined the AKP after resigning from the İYİ Party, was included in the AKP's MKYK list.
Journalist Murat İde put forward a striking claim about Zorlu. Speaking on Sözcü TV, in response to Özlem Gürses's question, "Were the deputies who joined the AKP with Akşener's quota in the İYİ Party going to join the AKP from the very beginning?", İde stated the following:

Regarding Kürşad Zorlu, I had shared my opinion on this matter with Ms. Akşener on the very first day, while remaining in the room. I had expressed it to him on the day he joined, when he was announced as a spokesperson. I shared my opinion that 'He will go to the AKP and is using this place as a stepping stone.' He had also jokingly said that he was comfortable with this matter."

I had a view from the beginning that Kürşad Zorlu would go to the AKP, but he pressured the CHP before the AKP.
First of all, he pressured the CHP when he was entering politics. When it didn't work out with the CHP during the Kemal [Kılıçdaroğlu] era, it became the İYİ Party.

İde also stated that one should not be surprised by the transitions from the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) and the İYİ Party to the AKP, adding, "Ethical values in politics have been incredibly eroded. For this reason, many things do not surprise me."
