CHP's Gülcan Kış stated that there is a massive gap between the economic data presented by the government and the economic hardships citizens face in their daily lives.

Emphasizing that inflation rates are contradictory, Kış said, "According to ENAG data, annual inflation is 68.68 percent, while according to TÜİK, this rate is announced as 35.05 percent. Citizens feel this difference deeply at the market and grocery store."

Drawing attention to the inadequacy of the raises given to retirees, Kış said, "With the figures fabricated by TÜİK at their desks, SSK and Bağ-Kur retirees are only receiving a 16.68 percent raise, while civil servants and civil servant retirees are receiving 15.57 percent. However, there are constant price hikes for food, at the market, for natural gas, electricity, and transportation. The public's salary remains below the hunger threshold once again."

Criticizing the government's economic policies and stating that the living conditions of millions of people are steadily worsening, Kış expressed her reaction by saying, "When will you be held accountable for these figures, which have been doctored by TÜİK? The public will not forget at the ballot box; they will give their answer when the day comes."
