CHP Aydın Deputy and TBMM Justice Commission CHP Group Spokesperson Süleyman Bülbül criticized the AKP government with harsh words during the parliamentary general assembly.

CHP's Bülbül said, "You have made it impossible for this nation to eat meat, eat fruit, or enjoy tea in the evenings. This public, which you have left dependent on dry bread, does not forgive you. The public will hold them accountable at the ballot box in the March 31 elections."

"THEY WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AT THE BALLOT BOX"

The statement by CHP's Bülbül is as follows:

"The Palace government has left citizens alone with hunger and poverty, burying them under the wreckage of inflation.

While the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization states that global food prices have fallen by 10.4 percent in the last year, food prices in Turkey have increased by 69.6 percent in the same period. We are the country with the second-highest inflation among G20 nations, following Argentina.

What a great success that we refuse to let anyone else take the lead in both food prices and inflation.

According to TÜİK, the Palace's backyard, on an annual basis; veal has increased by 109%, fruits by 88%, tea by 79%, water by 69%, eggs by 67%, and bread by 57%.

The AKP government has made it impossible for this nation to eat meat, eat fruit, or enjoy tea in the evenings. This public, which the government has left dependent on dry bread, does not forgive the current administration. Our 85 million citizens will hold them accountable at the ballot box in the March 31 local elections."
