Participating in the Geniş Açı program hosted by Pınar Işık Ardor on EKOL TV, Günaydın made notable remarks after Ardor mentioned that he was wearing a jacket similar to the 'winner' jacket.

Gökhan Günaydın stated, "I would never wear anything that Erdoğan wears. Özgür Özel had said, 'Let us wear it for once.' If I were in his place, I would not have made such a choice."
