Following the "absolute nullity" decision, former AKP MKYK member Mücahit Birinci made a striking post on his social media account.

In his post, Birinci suggested that Kılıçdaroğlu could see the general elections without a party congress being held. He noted that the party bylaws allow for this.

In his social media post, Birinci also made claims regarding the presidential candidate.

The post by the AKP figure is as follows:

'Look, I am giving you clear information. Don't be surprised later: Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu will see the election without a congress. The bylaws are suitable. The presidential candidate will be Mr. İlhan Kesici.'
