CHP issues call for 'Empty Pot' protest
CHP Women's Branch Chair Asu Kaya has issued a call for a protest to be held on Friday, October 17, to draw attention to the economic crisis and rising poverty in the country.

Asu Kaya stated, "The Century of Turkey has become the century of the empty pot! Enough is enough!"
In a post on her social media account, Kaya wrote: "The Century of Turkey has become the century of the empty pot! Enough is enough! On Friday, October 17, at 17:00, we are shouting with one voice in all 81 provinces: We do not bow down to this imposed poverty! Take your empty pot and come join us."
