CHP Chairman Özgür Özel has arrived at his new office in Istanbul. He was accompanied by CHP İstanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik, who had been replaced by a court-appointed trustee.
DEM PARTY LEADERS TO VISIT
Özel will meet today with DEM Party Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları. The leaders are expected to make a joint statement following the meeting.
NOTABLE DECISION FROM THE COURT
A critical development occurred in the judiciary ahead of the meeting. The Ankara 3rd Civil Court of First Instance dismissed the lawsuit filed to annul the CHP İstanbul Provincial Congress on its merits.
"CONTINUATION OF THE TRUSTEE IS NOT POSSIBLE"
In his assessment following the ruling, CHP lawyer Çağlar Çağlayan stated, "With this decision, there is no possibility for the trustee to continue their duties."
