Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel spoke at the 'Primary Care and Preventive Health Services Workshop' organized by his party.

Özel said, "The country has been in a severe economic crisis for a long time, but we are facing a government that is incapable of solving this crisis and one that does not truly want to solve it; a government that prefers to favor certain segments of society, stall others, and loosen or tighten certain areas when needed to secure votes, but ultimately chooses the opposite instead of bringing general prosperity. The middle class of the past is now poor, and the poor of the past are now in a deep vortex of poverty. This economic crisis has turned into a social crisis that is particularly reflected in education and health services."

'WE ARE PREPARING TO TAKE OVER POWER'

"When a true people's government is established in the future administration of the Republic of Turkey, these problems will be solved at their root," said Özel, adding the following:

"Eight months from now, a document will emerge. We recently democratized our charter and reached a full consensus on how we will manage the party. Eight months from now, we will reach a full consensus on how we will manage the country, and then we are preparing to go to elections and take over power. The full consensus of this room on the health aspect of that consensus is the point I value the most. We must define how we view the issue from A to Z with the most accurate perspective, obtain the consensus of this room, and set our fundamental commitment from that day on. When we are in power, the common sense of this room will manage Turkey's health policies. I believe in this common sense."
