Bingöl, who has been on the agenda for some time with claims that he will join the AKP, received numerous negative comments on his post in a short time.

Bingöl, who was elected Mayor of Tuzla with the support of CHP voters in the 2024 local elections, had remained silent regarding the allegations, but in his latest post, he directed criticism at the İBB over the risk to housing in the district.

In the video, Bingöl stated, “As I have been trying to explain to you for some time, we are facing the risk of 50 thousand Tuzla residents losing their homes. We have made a great effort for two years to prevent the issue from reaching this point, but unfortunately, we have not made any progress in solving the problem.”

It was observed that after the post, hundreds of users left negative comments in a short time, and the post was subsequently closed to comments.

In his statement, Bingöl noted that the people of Tuzla have the right to be informed about this issue concerning the future of the district, saying, “I will not remain silent from now on, and I will tell you the whole truth as it is.”

"Dear Neighbors,

As I have been trying to explain to you for some time, we are facing the risk of 50 thousand Tuzla residents losing their homes. We have made a great effort for two years to prevent the issue from reaching this point, but unfortunately, we have not made any progress in solving the problem.

All Tuzla residents have the right to know everything about this problem that threatens the future of our district! I will not remain silent from now on, and I will tell you the whole truth as it is.

My primary duty and responsibility is to protect the rights and legal interests of the people of Tuzla. The problem is not unsolvable; I will not bow down to the impositions of those who do not want it to be solved.

The people of Tuzla should rest assured, I will never take the sin of leaving 50 thousand people homeless upon myself… #TuzlalınınHakkı"
