Following this development, the CHP Central Executive Board held an extraordinary meeting at 17:00 under the leadership of Özgür Özel. The meeting lasted approximately three hours, after which Özel appeared in a live broadcast on Halk TV.
Özgür Özel is scheduled to travel from Ankara to Istanbul tonight. The rally to be held in Zeytinburnu tomorrow will proceed as previously planned. It is stated that Özel will continue his work from Istanbul for several days.
According to information obtained from party sources, some of the events for the 102nd Anniversary of the CHP, which were to be celebrated between September 4-9, will be canceled. In particular, events such as the Eymir run and concerts planned for Sunday are expected to be canceled.
