CHP Muğla Provincial Women's Branch Chair Sema Gençoğlu has been dismissed. It is stated that the decision came after Gençoğlu was among those who issued a statement of support for Özgür Özel following the "absolute nullity" decision within the CHP.
In a letter sent to the Provincial Presidency by Women's Branch Chair Aylin Nazlıaka, it was announced that Gençoğlu's tenure as provincial women's branch chair had been terminated.
The letter also stated that the provincial women's branch board of directors and substitute board members were also dismissed.
Following the dismissal decision, no new appointment has yet been made for the CHP Muğla Provincial Women's Branch Chairmanship.
