Pharmacist Şükrü Ciravoğlu has won the primary election held for the CHP mayoral candidacy in Edirne. The primary, which took place yesterday at a wedding hall, saw the participation of candidates Şükrü Ciravoğlu, Filiz Gencan Akın, Serkan Liznak, Ergun Türkyılmaz, and Seyfi Alp Üzmen.
In the primary election where 2,673 valid votes were cast, Şükrü Ciravoğlu came in first with 1,591 votes. Filiz Gencan Akın received 683 votes, while Serkan Liznak received 256, Ergun Türkyılmaz 126, and Seyfi Alp Üzmen 17 votes. With this result, pharmacist Şükrü Ciravoğlu has won the primary election for the CHP Edirne mayoral candidacy.
