CHP responds to Tevfik Göksu for accusing IMM! 'The same slander and lies for 4.5 years!'

Tarık Balyalı, CHP Group Deputy Chair at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), responded to the claim by Esenler Mayor and IMM Assembly AKP Group Deputy Chair Tevfik Göksu that "the number of personnel hired by the IMM in the last 3 months is exactly 8,643!"

AKP's Esenler Mayor and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Assembly AKP Group Deputy Chair Tevfik Göksu made allegations against the IMM during a live broadcast he attended.

Claiming that 8,643 personnel had been hired by the IMM in the last 3 months, Göksu said, "Where are Istanbul's resources being spent? On the people of Istanbul or on designing the CHP?" 

Göksu also stated, "Even the Court of Accounts could not find who has the 1,258 vehicles belonging to the IMM. Who has these vehicles now? Who are they serving? Come out and explain to whom Istanbul's resources are being handed over!"

JET RESPONSE FROM CHP TO GÖKSU'S CLAIMS

IMM CHP Group Deputy Chair and Pendik Municipal Council Member Tarık Balyalı responded to these remarks by Tevfik Göksu. Balyalı refuted Göksu with the data he disclosed.

Tarık Balyalı's statements are as follows:

"The same slander and lies for 4.5 years! 14 thousand people have been hired at the IMM in 11 months, and 13 thousand people have left their jobs. More than 7 thousand of this is due to retirement. That is, EYT applications. In the last 3 months, 4 thousand people have been hired and 2,500 people have left for various reasons. The 16 million residents of Istanbul have had enough of these."
