CHP's first move following the court ruling
CHP's Murat Emir reacted to the decision to appoint a trustee to the Istanbul Provincial Presidency. He announced that following the court's ruling, they have filed an application to lift the injunction in Istanbul.

CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir made sharp statements regarding the appointment of a trustee to the Istanbul Provincial Presidency. During a press conference held at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), Emir recalled that the Ankara 3rd Civil Court of First Instance had rejected the cancellation request regarding the CHP İstanbul Provincial Congress on its merits, drawing attention to the court's decision. Emir emphasized the phrase in the court's ruling stating that "the allegations are of a nature that cannot be proven by witnesses."
"THE ALLEGATIONS ARE COMPLETELY HOLLOW"
Evaluating the court's decision, Emir said, "The indictments are completely hollow. There is no evidence, no money movement. There are only lying witnesses who say 'I heard.' The court rejected these from the root, stating that these are matters that cannot be proven by witnesses." Following this comment, he also reacted to the injunction in Istanbul.
CRITICISM OF THE INJUNCTION IN ISTANBUL
Murat Emir harshly criticized the injunction issued by the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance, stating, "The judge in Istanbul issued the injunction and fled. Our provincial building was raided with gas, batons, and police." Following this, he stated that they had applied to have the injunction in Istanbul lifted: "The illegalities are endless, but our colleagues immediately applied to this court yesterday after the decision of the 3rd Civil Court of First Instance."
"ONE WHO SPEAKS WITH THE PALACE CANNOT BE A CHP MEMBER"
Murat Emir also harshly criticized Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as the trustee. Saying, "They found a former CHP member begging for a seat from the Palace," he claimed that the trustee was appointed to portray the CHP as a party in conflict. Furthermore, opposing the statements used by Erdoğan and the trustee that "This is a matter among CHP members," he said, "One who speaks with the mouth of the Palace cannot be a CHP member."
Speaking about Aziz İhsan Aktaş, who has come to the agenda with accusations against CHP mayors, Emir said, "It is not even clear if what this person says is true. But the trustee declares them guilty in advance."
Emir emphasized that the tensions within the CHP are related to the palace, stating, "This is not an internal matter. The real fight is between the palace, Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Republican People's Party. The winner of this fight will be the people and the Republican People's Party."
