The CHP's "Local Governments and Education Workshop"was held at the Istanbul Planning Agency's (IPA) campus in Florya. Delivering the opening speech, CHP Deputy Chairman Gökan Zeybek announced his party's potential vote share.

"We are heading toward power" said Zeybek, "We have been the leading party in all polls for 32 weeks. We are registering between 8,000 and 10,000 new members every week. There is a significant increase in our membership numbers, stemming from our success in municipalities and the stability in the party's general policies. This is a clear sign that we are heading toward power, but when we take office in Turkey, we will need around 20,000 high-level managers, bureaucrats, or staff for positions such as general managers, department heads, strategy heads, and budget heads." he stated.

Zeybek expressed the following:

"Since we cannot source these cadres from the bureaucrats who served in the public sector during the 1990s, specifically during the final SHP-DYP government, I believe that developing the employment of young and qualified personnel in municipalities who are aligned with our new sustainable management approach, supporting them, and training the cadres of our party—which will govern the country in the next election—is a historical responsibility that falls upon all of you."
